Some more information on the upcoming budget iPhone, referred to as the iPhone 5C, has come our way, albeit through leaked pictures.
Guys at Apple Fan Site were sent a whole bunch of pictures that are believed to be that of the low-cost iPhone. Now, those of you who have seen leaked shots of the iPhone 5C in the past would know that it is expected to come in a variety of colours (White, Red, Yellow, et al), but these new shots here feature a black iPhone 5C (see below).

Sadly though, there is no other information accompanying these shots, and hence you'll have to make do with just them. Like always, leaks and rumours must always be taken with a pinch of salt to avoid any disappointment in the future. That said if past reports hold true, then Apple will unveil this smartphone at its event scheduled for September 10.

Considering how much the word 'premium' has grown to become synonymous with iDevices, there has been a great deal of excitement surrounding this device. Among other things, the budget iPhone is rumoured to sport an 8MP sapphire crystal-coated camera as the iPhone 5. Chinese site IT168 had carried an image of a camera module and claimed that it belonged to the low-cost iPhone.
Recently, a report from China Labor Watch shed some more light on the existence of a budget Apple iPhone. The new PDF report from the labour group detailed upon the poor working conditions of workers at the Pegatron plant in Shanghai, as the company prepared to unveil a scaled-back, less expensive version of the iPhone.

If that wasn’t enough, a slim fit case reportedly managed to show up on Amazon. By the looks of it, it seemed to have been made to fit the iPhone 5C. The image also confirms rumours that the smartphone will indeed sport elongated volume buttons on the side.
